Real Heroes of Country Music....Emmy nominated TV Show!
The idea for the popular television program Real Heroes of Country Music came to Anna Prince as she watched bluegrass legend Bill Monroe perform at a Reunion of Professional Entertainers Meeting (R.O.P.E.) of which she is a member. "I saw Bill and knew he must have lots of stories to tell about his life in Country and Bluegrass Music, and I decided then and there to capture on tape as many personal stories as possible before these great ones leave us."
Prince began her now thirty-six part series which airs five times a week on Channel 19. Guests tell their stories in a laid-back setting where anything can happen! The format is loose, funny, and creates an ease where the stars feel at home.
Guests have included Vern Gosdin, Charlie Louvin, Charlie McCoy, Charlie Pride, Janie Fricke, The Andersons, Liz and Casey, Martha Carson, Freddy Fender, Freddie Hart, Leroy Van Dyke, and the list goes on.
