Announcing The Nashville Music
Festival
We want to extend to you our personal invitation
to attend the Nashville Music Festival. This event has already earned
the endorsements of country music associations and organization
around the world. Music companies large and small have already reserved
booth space. This event is on track to be the largest unsigned artist
event in the history of Nashville. There will be several stages
scattered over 11 beautiful acres. Each of those stages will have
an open microphone. If you want to show the Nashville music industry
what you have to offer, this is the single most important event
of the year! This is the one event you can not afford to miss!
SEMINARS
There
will be free seminars on subjects such as, "How To Write A
Press Release That Newspapers Will Print", "The Nashville
Number System" (this is the method used by Nashville studio musicians),
"How To Get Bookings For A Country Act", "How To Get Bookings For
A Gospel Act", "The Importance Of Production", "The Importance Of
Promotion", "How To Write A Country Or Gospel Song", "Using
The Internet To Pitch Your Songs", "Using The Internet As An Artist",
"Common Mistakes To Avoid", and other important topics to
help you build your career. If you want to build your career, this
is the single most important event of the year! This is the one
event you can not afford to miss!
Establish Music Industry
Contacts
You will have three full days to meet people
and establish contacts in the music industry. You will be able to
meet record companies executives,
producers, promoters, booking agents, disc jockeys, music publishers,
songwriters, music magazine writers, press agents, and more. You
will be able to talk to other recording
artists to compare notes on what works and what doesn't. You"ll
be able to ask other artists who they have done business with and
if they were treated honestly and fairly. This alone can save you
thousands of dollars and countless months of valuable time. If you
understand how important it is to know the right people, this is
the single most important event of the year! This is the one event
you can not afford to miss!
DATES OF THE FESTIVAL
This event will be held during Veterans Memorial
Day Weekend, in Music City, USA (Nashville, TN). The dates are Saturday
May 26th, Sunday May 27th, and Monday (Memorial Day) May 28th of
2001.
NO STAGE OR SEMINAR FEES
If you order your tickets before March 30th,
3 Day tickets are just $50 for adults and $25 for children 12 years
of age or under. There are no stage fees or seminar fees. When you
sign up for the open microphones, just show your ticket badge. When
you attend any of the seminars, just show your ticket badge.
HAVE FUN YOUR WAY
If you want to grab your guitar and a few new
or old friends to sit under a tree and sing or pitch your songs,
there will be plenty of trees and a lot of guitar pickers and singers.
If you want to just watch a show, there will be plenty of them.
The Wisconsin CMA and The Lone Star State CMA will be doing shows
featuring their members. Well known Native American entertainer
Storm Seymour will be hosting a song and dance show. It will
feature all Native American entertainers. I just spoke with Cherokee
Magnus, who is the head of a large Native American dance troop.
She plans to attend the festival and involve her dance troop in
it. If you"re driving, we suggest you bring your lawn chairs.
If you"re flying, some chairs will be available. There is a shopping
center a block away for those who prefer to purchase a lawn chair.
SUPPORT AMERICAN VETERANS
The Nashville Music Festival is being held, during
Veterans Memorial Day Weekend. In honor of those brave men and women
who have served our country in the defense of our American liberties
and way of life, all food and beverage sales proceeds will support
American veterans and part of the ticket sales proceeds will support
American Veterans!
YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN TRACKS
In order to avoid sound pollution, outdoor stages
will be track and acoustic music only. Bring your own recorded music
tracks or use the thousands of karaoke tracks, which will be available
at the stages. An indoor stage will be available for amplified bands.

The Festival Will Be Held On 11 Beautiful Acres
1/2 Mile From The Nashville Airport. The stage areas will be cover
and the festival will be held rain or shine. The site is just 1/2
mile from Interstate 40 at exit 216. It is easily accessed from
any motel, hotel or campground in the greater Nashville area. A
list of hotel/motel chains and complete directions will be
mailed with your tickets and is posted on this Internet web site.

To Singers & Songwriters
Among the many companies who will be giving grants
of studio time, demos, press releases, promotion, radio releases,
or Internet web pages to singers and songwriters are the following;

100 Free Booth Spaces Available
Free booth spaces are limited and will be reserved
on a first come first served basis. If you wish to sell musical
instruments or equipment, CDs and tapes, arts and crafts,
etc. request booth space with your ticket order. Associations,
organizations, music companies, and Native American Tribal Councils
are encouraged to make space available to individual singers &
writers. If you are an individual and need booth space it will be
available.
Doctor Anna Prince, host of the
Nashville based television program "Heroes of Country Music,"
has announced she will be taping selected unsigned artists
all three days of the festival. Anna's program is carried by the
Nashville cable television system and has been a must see for members
of the Nashville music community for several years. In past segments,
she has interviewed and featured almost the entire roster of the
famed Grand Ole Opry. She explained, she intends to showcase selected
festival attendees as "Future Heroes of Country Music,"
on upcoming television broadcasts.
Colonel Buster Doss is a living legend in the
entertainment industry. In the mid 1940s, he was a successful Hollywood
movie star as the cowboy "Bronco Buck Cody." In the late
1940s, he was at the famous "Louisiana Hayride" with Hank
Williams, Sr. During the 1960s, he owned and operated a traveling
three ring circus. In the 1970s, he promoted "Grand Ole Opry
Road Shows" throughout the United States. For over twenty years,
he owned and operated country music theaters in Missouri, Arkansas,
and Texas. Well known singers such as Tracy Lawrence, Curb Records'
James T. Horn, and Rounder Records' Ronda Vincent got their start
at his theaters. Colonel Doss will be leading a seminar entitled,
"The History and Evolution of Country Music." As President
of Stardust Records, Col. Doss will be awarding an international
radio release to some talented singer.
Joey Welz made musical history as the keyboard player
for "Bill Haley and the Comets." Their hit record, "Rock
Around The Clock," is credited with starting the rock and roll
craze, which swept the nation in the 1950s. Joey has agreed to both
perform during the festival and to lead a seminar. His seminar will
discuss how to successfully license your music to overseas distributors.
Joey's, Caprice Records company will be awarding a free one song
radio release to some talented singer at the festival. His label
mate, Amy Beth is frequently billed as, "the world's first
and best female Elvis impersonator." She will be performing
with this rockabilly legend.

International Children's Rights Organization To
Attend The Festival
With over 180,000 members, the Children's Rights Council
is one of the largest non-profit organizations in the world dedicated
to improving the lives of children. Founded by former United States
Senator, David Levy, it is headquartered at the British Embassy
in Washington, DC. Branch offices are located in London, England
and Tokyo, Japan. It has numerous regional
chapters throughout the three nations. Senator Levy and several
other officers will be present at the C. R. C. booth, during the
festival. Several professional sports celebrities from football,
NASCAR racing, and hockey are expected to sign autographs as part
of their membership drive.
Executive Director Of Golden State Country Music
Organization To Conduct
Seminar
Ms. Suzi Cantu currently serves as Executive Director
of both the Golden State Country Music Organization and Executive
Director of the Country Music Organizations Of America. The Golden
State C. M. O. has four regional chapters covering the state of
California. The Country Music Organizations Of America has several
state chapters which hold regional and state talent competitions
annually. In October of each year the various state chapters gather
in Las Vegas for their annual convention and national competitions.
Ms. Cantu will be conducting a seminar entitled, "There Is
Strength In Numbers". It is designed to explain the importance
of joining your local association, in the advancement of your career.
Celebrated Dutch DJ To Conduct Seminar At The Nashville
Music Festival
Rein Wortelboer programs four radio programs. He broadcasts
a country, a gospel, and a bluegrass radio program over Dutch radio.
He programs a special internet broadcast, which is posted twice
monthly at www.radiocountry.org.He has won numerous awards from
several American country music organizations. He has been honored
by the Virginia CMA, The Nebraska Country Music Foundation, The
Ohio CMA, The Lone Star State CMA, and has received several King
Eagle Awards, in Nashville. He will conduct a seminar explaining
the differences between Europe and American radio. If you intend

Famous Hollywood Makeup Artist To Conduct Seminar At The Festival
Bill Bailey's resume is long and impressive. He has
served as the professional make up artist, on numerous Hollywood
movie sets. He will be conducting a make over, during his seminar
on professional makeup techniques. Mr. Bailey currently serves as
full time manager for several recording artists. One he is grooming
for stardom is David Carlson. His new album entitled, "I'm
The One" is drawing a great deal of from major label record
companies. David has had roles in two movies and is cast to play
the young Ricky Nelson, in a third. David will be performing and
signing autographs, at the festival.
