KMA
Records is located in Madison, Tennessee in the suburbs of Nashville
on Kitty Wells Boulevard. KMA is owned and operated by Keith and
Michael Bradford, brothers who have the love of music in common.
Keith worked for Kitty Wells and her husband Johnny Wright, touring
the country as their bass player for 16 years. When the touring
got slow, Keith bought Kitty and Johnny's building and set up a
small recording studio. In five years, they kept the studio smoking,
producing 105 albums for Compact Disc.
Tapping the Overseas Market
Bradford can be found on the
Internet at dawn, emailing the radio presenters
(D.J.'s) in Europe and abroad informing them about his latest artists
and how hot they sound. He has become such great friends with these
many dozens of D.J.'s that now and then they come to his hometown
for a few days' stay.
In July 2,000 we were on the Internet and
found that KMA Records was rated
Number One, Number Two and Number One again on separate charts,
covering the
whole of Europe! We have talked with 17 artists who record on KMA
and have found that they are not only happy, they love to work with
the Bradford brothers and come back again and again for more and
bring their friends and family.
So Hats Off to KMA Records. Good job!
