"It was Keith Bradford who talked me into making
my album. I said 'okay' in a hurry because it was something I had
always wanted to do. I became even more excited when I learned that
Keith knew a lot of radio people in Europe.
I found the album came together with ease... in
fact, I recorded five of the songs in one hour and thirty-five minutes...
and that included me singing two part harmony."
IT'S ON IT'S WAY
The album was soon on its way to 250 American radio stations and
162 overseas radio stations and now I was really excited!
I had had some luck in Europe earlier with songs I had written becoming
hits. "What if?" I thought, then shook my head. "Naaay".
THEY LOVE YOU, ANNA!
Keith called me to his office one day to show me something. "Anna,
look at this!" He handed me three charts of European radio
playlist compilations. "Look, Anna" he said, "Your
album is in the top twenty-five most-played albums in the whole
of Europe! And they have only had it thirty days! I have never sent
an album overseas that was grabbed up and played so soon by so many
European Presenters!" I took a copy of his lists and went
out the door smiling, thinking of my next album.

OVERSEAS PLAYLISTS
I got on the Internet and saw for myself how the songs off my album
were popping up on many posted playlists. In France, England, The
Netherlands, Belgium, everywhere! I was soon emailing the Presenters
(D.J's) and making fast friends in radio stations abroad. I also
got to interview a few of the overseas Presenters when I took my
show Real Heroes of Country Music to Nashville's annual Fan
Fair.
READY TO DO IT AGAIN
It was such a positive experience, I have decided to choose my very
best songs, including the NUMBER ONE HITS I wrote for HANK LOCKLIN.
